Entegra Motorhome Technical Talk / Dometic furnace will blow air, but not light off
Last post by James Sparke -

the Dometic furnace on our Odyssey 29v worked like a charm over the last couple months.  Then on this Wednesday, when it turned on, the blower ran as it should have, but the furnace would not light off.  The thermostat would click when trying to light the furnace.

Check batteries for charge.  They were at 12+ %.

Took cover off furnace.  Not sure what I was looking at, but a small red light was blinking fast without pausing.  That situation does not appear on the owner's manual.  Seeking some help.

Entegra Motorhome Technical Talk / 2021 Ethos 20T Norcold refrigerator operation only on shore power
Last post by BENB10777 -
As stated, the only time the fridge will work is when connected to shore power. All the other lights and outlets, except the pop up on the counter, work with the couch power on and inverter switched on. I have checked it with the engine running and also checked with the generator running, both result in no power to the fridge. Not sure if I am overlooking something or if anyone else has experienced this. Any suggestions?

Entegra Motorhome Technical Talk / 2021 Entergra Accolade Water heater
Last post by jjanke384 -
Greetings,

I'm replacing the water heater in our Entergra Accolade with a new Dometic water heater that replaces the heater it came with. I'm having an issue removing the old water heater. I've removed all the screws, door, and gas line. I'm having an issue trying to pull the unit out. As you know, the water heater is in an enclosed pre-molded compartment so the only way to remove is to pull it out.

Am I overlooking something on this and is there something I need to be doing before trying to pull this heater out. Any suggestions or help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Jim

Entegra Motorhome Discussions / Entegra Launch 19y - Health Concern - odorless fumes when running heater
Last post by coffeetime -
Hey everyone,
I recently purchased a 2024 Entegra Launch 19y, and I'm very excited to take it out on my first trip. However, I'm running into a strange and concerning issue. When turning on the heating system, with all the doors & windows closed, fumes accumulate in the cabin.
The fumes are odorless but are detectable via PM 2.5 sensors and reach unhealthy levels. I'm using a Temtop M10 PM2.5 sensor to check this, and I have seen Air Quality Index (AQI) levels reach as high as 140-170, (vs baseline outdoor AQI levels of only 25).
Ater the heating system is warmed up, AQI levels seem to stabilize around 60-70.

My van is equipped with a Timberline hydronic heating system, and is built on a diesel mercedes 2500 van.
The issue is most apparent on cold starts (when the heater is cold). Once the heater is warmed up, the AQI still tends to remain elevated however, hovering at levels of 50-60, which gain is not very healthy over long exposure times.

HOW TO REPRODUCE
1. Begin from a cold start. Ideally the unit would have cooled off overnight.
2. Close all windows, vents, and doors. Set up your sensor and take baseline readings.
3. Leave the sensor at an angle where you can see it from outside the van (via the windshield), so you don't have to open the door.
4. Turn on the van's main cabin power.
5. In the thermostat panel, turn on only the fuel burner. Turn up the temperature to the max.
6. Step outside the van, making sure to close the door behind you.
7. Wait 15-20 min.
8. Check the AQI readings. Mine come in between 140-170 AQI on cold start.

THINGS I'VE TRIED
1. I already tried running the heater the whole day with the doors open to air out the cabin.
2. The folks at the service department adjusted the exhaust pipe to point it further out form the vehicle and tightened a loose hose connection on the heating system.
3. Running the heater in electric only mode still results in a bit of elevation in the AQI levels (50 AQI vs 25 outdoor baseline).

Has anyone run into this problem with their motorhome? And do you have any suggestions on what we might try to fix this?

Entegra Motorhome Technical Talk / Re: FAULT keeps reappearing
Last post by Esspiper -
I have the same fault listed and I replaced the battery behind the touchpad next to the bathroom door above the drivers side bed.  It still shows bad and that panel still doesn't work.  So second choice is that the switch isn't connected.  Where is the switch?  And how does it disconnect when I am not moving?  I have the 2021 Ethos Li

Entegra Motorhome Technical Talk / FAULT keeps reappearing
Last post by NUMBER7 -
Recently bought a low mileage 2022 Entegra Ethos Li. Took it out on a camping trip and found out that it is not charging. Brought it home plugged it in following manual and reached an SOC of 56%. Problem I'm having is a fault that keeps appearing on the BMS panel. I have reset the fault 4 times and it continues to reappear. The coach will not charge with this fault. FAULT #1 switch has a dead battery or is disconnected. ????? Where is the switch? Can anyone help? The coach has all of the updates.
