Which Toad Did You Chose for All 4 Wheels Down?

Looking to update the Toad. Prefer all 4 wheels down vs any tow dolly.

Curious what other have pulling and why they might have chose it.

Would like something somewhat new, made in the last 5 years or so if possible.

Thanks for ALL Suggestions and Tips

2016 Fusion Hybrid ... 3,639 pounds for curb weight, towable 4 down with automatic transmission.  You have to start the engine and allow it to  run for 5 minutes at the  beginning of each day and then every  6 hours thereafter to keep things lubricated.

Maybe just inside your age limit .... 2012 Wrangler 4dr hard top, it rides well enough, goes any where you have any business going and then some, , easy to set up to tow, and decent gas mileage.

2014 Honda CRV, surprisingly one of the lighter ones that is 4 down tow-able.

Unfortunately 2014 was the last year you could tow them 4 down as newer ones use the CVT transmissions.

I've towed two cars and had good experiences with both.

1) 2015 Hyundai Veloster Turbo with a manual transmission. Simply place it in neutral, and set the ACC mode to on, leave the key fob in the car and that's it.

2) 2017 Jeep Wrangler Sahara with an automatic transmission. There's a few more steps that need to be followed in order to put it in/out of tow mode. The end result is the drive is set to neutral and the transmission is placed in park. After going through the process a few times, it's fairly simple.

IMHO, the 4 door Wrangler is a great choice as the rear seats can fold flat to provide plenty of storage space. It's not the smoothest car on the planet, but it's fun to drive...and you can drive it almost anywhere! The tops can be removed, but it's a process.

We tow a GMC Acadia - I installed the two cut off switches as required and had an Air Force One brake system installed.  We tow with a Blue Ox Avail. We have towed about 8000 miles so far and have been very pleased.  We also bought the AWD version thinking we might be in some places where it would be useful.

Cheers!

2017 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk.  One of the only Jeeps you can still 4 down without jumping through hoops.
